Dr. Amy Bonomi is founder of Social Justice Associates, award winning professor and founding Director of the Women’s Leadership Institute at Michigan State University, and author of more than 150 articles/essays at the intersection of DEI and violence prevention. Dr. Bonomi co-edited the award winning book, Women Leading Change in Academia: Breaking the Glass Ceiling, Cliff, and Slipper, which addresses barriers women leaders face and strategies to remove those barriers. Dr. Bonomi served as chair of MSU's Sexual Violence Advisory Committee and is currently serving the Biden administration as co-chair of the Board of Scientific Counselors for the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Bonomi's research has been featured on ABC News, BBC, Breitbart, Campus Reform, CNN, The College Fix, Fox News, Great Day Houston, MSNBC, NPR, , etc. Dr. Bonomi received the Distinguished Scholar Award from the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University and was named Diversity Champion in the College of Social Sciences at Michigan State University.
